Life Magazine - Sunday Independent

Mary o Sullivan has published a piece about myself and my family in this Sunday's Life magazine in the Independent. I met Mary a couple of weeks ago when she came to my home to talk about my Bloom win! Before i knew it we were talking about my history and some blasts from the past. We had a good laugh and a good talk. She was interested in my musical interests and wrote about them in the paper. I am lucky enough to have had the opportunities to be creative in different fields and when talking to Mary we seemed to connect the dots looking back! 
I really enjoy my family life and do my best with the DIY to keep our house in order! It is kinda strange seeing one's home in a magazine but it's all good at the end of the day!

BBQ Recipe - My own and it's quick and easy!

BBQ SAUCE RECIPE
Having a nice garden is great but getting out there and doing some cooking on a nice day like today is what it's all about!
I like food that is easy to prepare and tasty. Here is an simple BBQ sauce that can be made in minutes, keeps your food moist and tastes great.
2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
Half a tablespoon of soy sauce
Half a teaspoon of chili powder

Mix in a bowl and put in your fish, meat or chicken.
Marinate in the fridge for an hour if you can wait!
Then stick on the BBQ.
Rub down with more sauce as it cooks.

On the side - Natural yoghurt (300g) juice of one lemon and half a red chili grated. Mix together and pour over the dish. It is a nice contrast of sweet, spicy and cool yoghurt.
